In March 2005, Grand United Friendly Society Limited merged with Australian Unity Limited.
Australian Unity Investment Bonds Limited commenced administration of the Grand Bonds Fund in October 2005.
In June 2006, the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority approved the voluntary transfer of the life business operated by GUFS to AUIBL.
All Grand United Funds are now closed to new members.
